What is an Air Knife?

Air knives, including strip air knives and ring air knives, are a kind of equipment specially designed to blow out strong and high-speed airflow to remove dust, blow water stains, and cool down. There is also an air knife for cutting boards. The air knife consists of high-intensity, uniform laminar airflow.

Traditional blowing applications have many disadvantages, such as: uneven airflow; compressed air consumption is very large; although it has a strong impact, but the noise level is too high, which seriously affects the health of field operators; power-driven Air-blowing products often require frequent maintenance and short service life. The super air knife designed according to the Coanda effect ideally solves the above technical problems.
Super Air Knife quickly and efficiently realizes a variety of industrial air blowing and dust removal, liquid removal and drying, cooling and cooling applications and sheet cutting through a large flow, strong impact, low air consumption, low noise, and a thin, long flow with uniform flow.
Working airflow: Consumption of compressed air = 40: 1. Strong blowing force, maintenance-free, no moving parts, no electrical parts, uniform airflow, strong low-noise, adjustable flow, simple structure.
In the 1950s and 1960s, the term " air doctor " was first used to refer to
(1) Air knife length: 8, 15, 23, 30, 46, 61, 76, 91, 107, 122CM, and the air knife can be arbitrarily assembled.
(2) Super Air Knife Features:
1. Low noise, the noise level is only 69 decibels (pressure is 5.5 bar, about 80 psi), and the noise is 11 times lower than that of the conventional drilled pipe air curtain;
2. Save compressed air, saving 63% of air consumption compared with conventional drilling pipe air curtain;
3. The air flow is balanced and the air compression ratio can reach 40: 1;
4, no moving parts, the material is aluminum or stainless steel;
5, small size, easy to install, maintenance-free;
6. Provide a variety of air curtain widths (8-122CM), adjustable airflow intensity (with pressure regulator).
(3) Application:
1. Drying of parts after cleaning process;
2. After the beverage filling process, it is dried by high-pressure air and then labeled.
3. Plate cleaning with rigid rolling mill;
4. Conveyor belt cleaning;
5. Parts cooling;
6. The fabric is dry or clean;
7. Pretreatment before plating or painting;
8. Coating machine for paper and printing industry;
9. The opening of the packaging bag during the operation of packaging machinery;
10. Smoke treatment during engine test. [3]
